Venture Sports: Self Defence

We run basic introductory courses in self defence for a person with a spinal injury. Obviously we focus on upper body defences.

Self defence is not just about showing someone how to punch or deflect an assailant. It also involves making the person aware of good street awareness.

We have a number of sets of body and head protection, this allows people to spar without the risk of hurting each other.

We also have a number of striking options: two shields, a large punch bag and sets of focus mitts. These help people to develop their striking power.
